Foreverhome had established itself as a successful Bay Area real estate investment company, but was ready for a net-new brand that better reflects their values and personality. In addition to establishing a visual identity system and narrative, the rebrand had to distance them from “house flippers” – while still accurately portraying their business remodeling and reselling homes.

In an industry that has a reputation for being a “side-hustle,” leading with quality and professionalism was key.

It was important that all of Foreverhome’s materials look high-end and custom, just like their renovations. We redefined their entire brand through that lens, helping position them as leaders in their field.

Building a brand from the ground up

This project gave us the rare opportunity to brand a company from scratch. We started with a robust discovery phase, including rounds of interviews and design options to get to know the client’s values, differentiators, and preferences.

The look we landed on is minimal and timeless. A clean, classic, and scalable wordmark logo and icon pairing represent their homes and function as flexible design elements. Photography was integral to showing the quality of their remodels; relying on a simple font scheme and narrow color palette set up their photo library to take center stage.

A new model for messaging

Messaging was integral to Foreverhome’s rebrand. Across their website, social media, and other materials, it had to be clear exactly what Foreverhome did, without using the term “flipping.” Their messaging also had to help portray their level of professionalism, design expertise, and care for the communities they work in—all essential differentiators in their industry.

We went through rounds of questionnaires and interviews to get the copy just right, chipping away at the Foreverhome voice while extracting core values and messaging. The final copy executions helped accurately portray Foreverhome’s business and share their mission with internal and external audiences alike.

Ready to hit the market

Our partnership with Foreverhome was prolific. We designed and implemented a new website, established their social presence, and defined their voice through messaging explorations, brand guidelines, promotional emails, and more.

But more important than any individual asset, we helped redefine the Foreverhome brand as a whole. With new assets in place, we helped position them to expand their business and lead the home investment industry with confidence.

Design in Mind provided incredible full-scale support for our rebrand, working from ground zero to complete our visual identity, logo, and messaging. They also took charge of applying it across our materials. We enjoyed watching our vision for the new brand come to life!
